The designated operator of Iraq, the Iraq Post and Savings Company, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to the current security conditions in the Middle East, the Ministry of Transport has closed Iraqi airspace and suspended air traffic at all Iraqi airports with effect from Friday, 13 June 2025 and until further notice. As a result, all outbound and inbound international mail operations (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) have been suspended. The Iraq Post and Savings Company thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will provide an update via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
